Experience Eastern North seeks a team member with a flexible schedule to provide administrative, coordination, and marketing support to our collective tours.
Under supervision, the Tour Coordinator will manage aspects of the program, including gathering tour inquiries, scheduling incoming tours and workshops, collecting, maintaining, and reporting on relevant information about the neighborhood, onboarding and training tour guides, and providing tours as needed. The selected candidate will be expected to work in-person and in the field/remotely, with occasional nights and weekends.
The Tour Coordinator reports to the EEN Collaborative and will work closely with the Collaborative to complete tasks.

Responsibilities
- Collect tour inquiries
- Confirm and schedule tours and programs on the calendar
- Gather and maintain relevant information on topics relating to the neighborhood, location highlights, and cultural spaces for the tours
- Manage and update the “Experience North” website
- Create and update tour scripts as needed
- Conduct outreach to recruit tour guides and increase awareness of the program.
- Provide appropriate in-person training to tour guides.
- Schedule meetings (in person and virtual) with people requesting tours to get details about tour requests (language, highlights, activities).
- Be available to assist or run tours as needed.
- Organize, summarize, and track results from surveys relating to tours.
- Report to the collaborative every month.
- Complete other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Committed to working through community-based, resident-driven models of neighborhood revitalization
- Has a passion for public engagement and community projects.
- Proactive, self-directed, and shows an enthusiasm to take on new projects
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and goal-driven
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in public speaking, surveying, reporting, and tracking project milestones
- Has leadership skills and can work collaboratively as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Products
- Expertise with graphic design and WordPress is a plus.
Desirables
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing tours
- Bilingual (ideally Spanish-speaking)
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Experience running workshops
Compensation
The work schedule can be flexible, 10-15 hours per week at $20 per hour.
Timeframe
Six-month contract with an option for renewal.
